This afternoon I watched Bill Moyers Journal, and on the show today, Moyers talked a little bit about Howard Zinn. As I am sure you all know Howard Zinn the author of A People’s History of the Untied States, passed away last week of a heart attack at the age of 87. Zinn together with Matt Damon had been working on bring the book to television for the last ten years. Last year their goal was accomplish on the History channel.
After watching the show this afternoon, I goggled Zinn and found clips of the show. Below you will find a link to one of the performance by Christina Kirk speaking the words of Susan B. Anthony; one of my personal historical hero’s. I like to say if it weren’t for her fight, I would not be able to be the women that I am today.
The clip you are about to see; is of Anthony on trail in New York for voting illegally. This was her efforts to get the case to elevate to the Supreme Court. I hope you enjoy!
